Izidora, more commonly known as Izzie, is from Croatia. She moved to East London and joined Mzantsi Wakho in January 2015 as a Fieldwork Coordinator; over time she was promoted to Project Manager and now, Fieldwork Operations Manager. As a Fieldwork Operations Manager, Izzie supervises and supports the work of the field teams in East London and King William’s Town for both Mzantsi Wakho and its sister project, Sinovuyo Teens. She is an irreplaceable resource for advising the fieldwork teams, some of which include conflict resolutions, emergency planning, and overall field operations protocols with extensive institutional knowledge. Her favourite aspect of the project is getting to work with such a committed team of diverse people who give their all for a common goal.
