Originally from Australia, Jayne has spent most of the past 17 years living and working in the UK. She joined Mzantsi Wakho in August 2017 as a Fieldwork Coordinator in the King William’s Town office.  With 10+ years of experience in the travel industry, she is in the perfect position to plan and coordinate trips for the team when they journey further afield to undertake research. She also has four year’s experience in the healthcare industry as a respite nurse for adults with severe physical disabilities and has worked with the Riverkids Project, Phnom Penh, Cambodia teaching English and life skills to children at high risk of abuse and trafficking.

Her other tasks with Mzantsi Wakho include ensuring quality of data collected and providing logistical support to the team. Jayne is passionate about working to improve people’s lives and loves the diversity, challenges and experience of being part of the fieldwork team.
